What is IHRSA?
IHRSA stands for "International Health, Racquet & Sportsclub Association." We are a trade association serving the health and fitness club industry. IHRSA and its member clubs are dedicated to making the world healthier through regular exercise and fitness promotion.

Initiatives
The fitness industry is poised to step up as a solution to the growing public health crisis of obesity and overweight. IHRSA proudly represents and supports this goal through initiatives which help promote healthy, active lifestyles, such as Get Active America!, 120 Million by 2010, and "I Lost It at the Club."
Public Policy
IHRSA is proud to be the primary defender and promoter of the health club industry in Washington, DC and in state capitals across the country. IHRSA's Public Policy agenda is both defensive and offensive. We seek to prevent the government from doing things that are harmful to fitness businesses, and to strengthen initiatives that will help grow fitness businesses.
